The Sangiovese jersey, which is based on the Giro 102 Squadra jersey, is our celebration of the “Wine Stage” of this Giro d’Italia, the 34.7-kilometer individual time trial that starts in Riccione and finishes in San Marino (RSM). Its graphics and colors in particular offer a tribute to Sangiovese, an Italian red wine grape varietal that is widespread in Italy and cultivated between Romagna and Campania. The varietal probably originates from Tuscany, and its name could derive from the term “sangue di Giove” (“blood of Jupiter”), a testament to the ancient bond between wine and divinity. In terms of technical characteristics, the Sangiovese jersey uses a combination of fabrics that provide an optimal fit, quick drying and exceptional comfort. The main fabric, Velo Light by Sitip, ensures lightness and quick drying; the perforated side panels enhance breathability; and the construction of the sleeves, with no seams at the ends, provides unrivaled comfort.

Measuring Tips to Assure The Best Fit
With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.
Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.
With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.
For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.
